[IBU] Lift the Limit Links

I doubt there is a national lift the limit resource since alcohol is regulated by the states, there is no national alcohol policy. The various states have very different laws and thus the solution (if there is a problem) are tailored to each individual state. This isn't like the push to legalize homebrewing where it was just a push to make sure it is explicitly legal in some fashion so it was just a yes / no option. One thing you might look for is coverage in local papers in the states that have recently raised the limit. Those should give some evidence that the world won't end should this be addressed.

  Is there a national Lift the Limit effort?  If so, anyone have a link?  If not, what are the best state Lift the Limit sites?  I am asking because I receive a reply from my State Representative from my Lift the Limit email.  She seems very positive and potentially helpful to our cause.   Also, I seem to remember reading or hearing something about a second brewery (besides Millstream) in Iowa.  Can anyone confirm this and provide information if this is correct?

  PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE take ten minutes to identify and contact your State Senator and State Representative about Lifting the Limit in Iowa.  All the information you need is at teh IBU website, www.iowabrewersunion.org. You can copy the letter verbatim, just change the signature.  We have some momentum, let's build on it and get the limit raised.

  Anyone with contacts to other Iowa home brew clubs, please get them involved.
