Greetings,
So this is my first time posting on this list, I read it from time to time but today in perticular has sparked my interest with the discussion on lifting the stupid limit on beer in our wonderful state. It is funny that one of you mentioned that you recently met with a local representitve and discussed chaning the law. One of my good friends from back home and I were toying with the idea of contacting our local rep. and seeing if he knew anything about craft beer, and further more let him taste some "illegal" examples of beer that could be made in this state if it wasn't for the stupid laws.
I also thought that North Carolina changed their limit up to 15%, but I guess I was wrong. I know that Alabama is still fighting to get their laws changed. http://www.freethehops.org/. I like the little quote up on the top right hand side that says, "Underage drinkers are not interested in high alcohol gourmet beer." Which is so true, what college kid is going to go out and spend a bunch of cash on some imperial stouts when he can get a thirty pack of swill? Anywho, if there is anyway I can possibly help, please let me know.
Cheers,
