[IBU] January 21st meeting

Just a reminder of upcoming IBU events:

Thursday (today) Jan 17th - DRAW at Court Avenue Brewing Company beginning at 4:45 PM CDT.  CABCO brewer Mike Guthier has hinted that there may be some surprises at this DRAW.  Immediately after the DRAW, stroll over to el Bait Shop, where Vice President Brian Sabus will be pouring some of his home brew at the world famous, Jimmy Carter Happy Hour.

Monday Jan. 21st - IBU Monthly Meeting 7:00 PM CDT.  Guest speaker Maureen Ogle will discuss her book, Ambitious Brew , which is a history of brewing in America.  Brewer of the month is Ken Broadhead.  The style of the month is Dark Lagers.  This will also be the first meeting under the leadership of newly elected president, Steven Becker.  So, gather up your brewing related questions, gadgets, reviews, suggestions, and most importantly home brew and bring them to the Holiday Inn on Merle Hay Rd.
