[IBU] Lift the Limit

Mark, I am not aware of anyone being in charge of a petition drive, but this is one of the many things we need to address.  I think that Lift the Limit has missed its window of opportunity for this year, at least as a stand alone piece of legislation.  Perhaps it can still be attached to another bill, or even added when the House and Senate reconcile approved bills.  

Anyway, we did a lot of good things in a short amount of time, without much organization.  If we can get some organization and planning in place to build off this momentum, we could improve our odds of getting favorable legislation passed next year.  IMHO, I would like to involve as many of the breweries, brew pubs, liquor stores, brew clubs, tap houses, and beer lovers as possible.  RAGBRAI could be an excellent opportunity to get exposure for Lift the Limit.  Does anyone know if Team Good Beer is still around?  

Would anyone be interested in a organizing or participating on a committee, composed of members from the IBU and possibly ABL, Raccoon River Brewers, the Pella club, the Iowa Brewers Guild, and anyone else that wants to get involved in this effort?  Let's hear your ideas and plans for strengthening our effort.
