May be better to remove his name; but I don't think we can start too
early with this.  Steve Falck suggested organizing something with the
legislators sometime, sort of a homebrew tasting type of thing to
present our case.

 

Maybe something we can do at the very start of the next session?

Is it agreed, then, to hold off on printing any flyers?  Or do we want
to start the grassroots push ASAP?  If we print anything up with
Zirkelbach's name, we should make sure he sees it first--or just remove
reference to that altogether, which might be better IMHO.

Randle,

I have introduced legislation, but since it is such a huge piece of
legislation, I don't think it will get very far this year. If I am
re-elected, I plan on introducing it next year again, when I think it
will be better received.  It was never given a number, but next year one
will be assigned.

Representative Zirkelbach, I was told that you were planning to
introduce some legislation to lift the definition of beer in Iowa from
its current limit of 5% (ABW) to something higher, perhaps more in line
with the limit on wine.  Is this true?  If so, do you have a bill number
or any type of tracking number, so that I can monitor the progress of
this legislation?  If you can accomplish this change, you will have the
