Randle,
I have introduced legislation, but since it is such a huge piece of legislation, I don't think it will get very far this year. If I am re-elected, I plan on introducing it next year again, when I think it will be better received.  It was never given a number, but next year one will be assigned.

Representative Zirkelbach, I was told that you were planning to introduce some legislation to lift the definition of beer in Iowa from its current limit of 5% (ABW) to something higher, perhaps more in line with the limit on wine.  Is this true?  If so, do you have a bill number or any type of tracking number, so that I can monitor the progress of this legislation?  If you can accomplish this change, you will have the gratitude of the Iowa breweries, brew pubs, home brew clubs, and beer enthusiasts.
