[IBU] Granite City Brewery Tour in Ellsworth

The ABL has setup a tour of the Granite City Brewery in Ellsworth Iowa.  >From what I understand, all the Granite City wort is brewed there and then is shipped to the restaurants where they add yeast and let it ferment.  Larry Chase has agreed to give us a tour on May 10th at 2:00 pm.  I have included an email from Larry with directions.  If anyone from the IBU is interested, please send me an email so I can give Larry an approximate number of people before we go for the tour.  I'll also bring this up in tonight's IBU meeting.

Hey Mike,

2 pm is fine.  Address is 1722 Detroit St.  Simple directions are:

I-35 to exit 133.

Left at stop sign.

Turn at first right past Kum & Go.

Right at T-intersection.

Follow road as it turns left.

 

We are the last building at the end of the street, east side.

As it gets closer would you please give me an approximate # of people who plan to come?
