[IBU] other beer destinations of note...

Since we're sharing travel pics, I'll post some that (big) Leo took a
few years back. No, I haven't been there myself, YET. On my to-do
list.

On another note, I recently discovered a wall-o-wild hops clambering
merrily over the corn (I'm not disclosing the location!). The cones are
harvestable now/soon. What's a reasonable way to harvest/preserve them,
given limited access to vacuum-sealers or nitrogen gas? I do have a
dehydrator, but capacity is not adequate for the amount of hop cones.
If I remember correctly that far back, sometime in the early 2000s
(little) Leo presented a tech-talk to the IBU on this very topic.

Thanks all,

Hello Hop-heads!

Here are a few photos from my recent trip to Cape Town, South Africa.
Being its SAB-Miller country, most places simply offered Castle Lager
and Miller MGD (go figure!)...however, the good news is Paulaner built a
micro-brewery right on the water-front where all the fine Paulaner beers
are reproduced! Very tasty! I also enjoyed a few glasses of fresh Stella
on top of Table Mountain....one of the most beautiful places in the
world!

Prost!
