This year's ABL Mead day will be held at Mark and Colette's house, 25405 Sand Hill Trail this Saturday October 13th. We plan on making a couple different batches of mead. We haven't decided if we are going to make cider this year or not. However the press will be available if anyone wants to bring fruit and make their own batch.
We plan on starting at noon, and the festivities will continue into the evening. I will have a couple of different beers on tap as well as some meads. We also will be serving last year's cider and perry. There will be sandwiches and some snacks provided, any additional snacks and drinks are always welcome, as are children, significant others or any other interested parties.
Directions:
Take highway 30 East towards Nevada, the first road to the East of I35 is Sand Hill Trail. Turn South and go 1 ½ miles. The house is on the west side of the road, the driveway is just to the south of a red barn.
