I know that there was once a specialty herb retailer here in Ames, but they 
had no store front.  Dave Coy showed me one of their catalogs once about 4 
or 5 years ago.  Can't tell you much more, not even the name of the 
retailer.  I would with Dave Coy and see what he knows.
