[IBU] Follow up to some September meeting items

Way back in September, someone mentioned that Carry Chase, the brewer for Granite City, wants to have a tasting in Ellsworth, IA.   It was also said the he is very interested in involving home brewers in his process.  Does someone in the club know Carry?

Also in September, Eric mentioned that Dr, Sam Batty is doing hop research at ISU and that there is a possibility of Dt. Batty talking to us about his research.  Does anyone know if this is still the case?

I am following up with Zac Triemert on the availability of his wood aged beers.  I will let everyone know what I learn.
