[IBU] Lager fermentation

With proper pitching quantities, I'd say yes, but it's not unusual for lager
ferments to be much slower starting, and then having a slower "rise."
While homebrewing though, I didn't see many lager ferments that "topped" the
carboy like most of my ales did though.
If you'd like to really know why bottom and top yeast are classified as they
are, I'd be happy to share my beliefs and opinion.

there any noticable krausen during primary fermentation?
