Subject: State Fair entries


I just got back from the entry department at the fairgrounds and the competitive events director is positive the entry tags will come in tomorrow.  She intends to get them all in the mail by Friday.  If this doesn't happen, she is supposed to contact me and I will forward that info tomorrow.  For those of you who are entering and didn't get my previous message, I will repeat myself.  If you don't have your tags by the time you want to deliver your entries, rubber band a piece of paper to the bottles with the following information - name, exhibitor number if you know it (otherwise don't worry about that), style category from the Fair premium book, and description.  Deliveries can be made to the Family Center at the Fairgrounds this Saturday, 7/15, from 2-4pm.  Otherwise at the entry department in the basement of the administration bldg. during business hours, up until noon on Friday, 7/21.  Go down the stairs on the east side of the building.  You can also drop them off at Heartland Homebrew in Valley Junction until 4:30pm on Thursday, 7/20.  Summer hours at Heartland are 4-6pm Tuesday thru Friday, longer on Saturday.
