[IBU] Free Washer

All, my washer took a dive on me several weeks ago. It's a 3 yr old top
load maytag with 17 cycles and a stainless drum - nice for a top load.

There is a gasket that slowly went out underneath the basket or drum. This
allowed for a bit of water to be sprayed underneath. We have used it this
way for a few months now but we will invest the repair costs towards a new
front load. Cost to be repaired was $250 from a major appliance repair
shop.

I know the gasket is bad and the bearings are going bad from the water. The
transmission is fine but also under warranty.

If someone knows how to fix it or if you know someone who work for cheap or
even beer, free is a hell of a deal. I would sooner see someone use it
instead of it hitting the landfill at such a young age.

Lemme know as the new one will be delivered tomorrow.
